The exhibit explores the Maya civilization from ancient to modern times. The Maya is a Mesoamerican civilization that produced great architects, mathematicians, astronomers, and artists. On display are some of Sprague Library’s extensive collection of books and multimedia materials on the Maya. The exhibit also has a section on the 2012 Armageddon controversy.
