The Six-Year External Review Committee (SERC) process was established at Montclair State University to assist the faculty and administration in their efforts to review and enhance the University’s undergraduate and graduate academic programs by providing an external evaluation of our mission and achievements.
The following documents are sent to the departments under review to aid the Six-Year External Review Committee in preparing for its remote visit and Self-Study. The Department Chair might organize this task by assigning specific sections to individual faculty members. Please note: The self-study and all supporting materials should be sent electronically; no hard copies should be sent to the Provost’s Office.
