EBSCO Faculty Select is a licensed search and selection tool that gives instructors access to free Open course materials and low cost library-licensed resources for their courses.
Using a single interface, instructors can search for quality Open Educational Resources, Open Access materials, and DRM-free eBooks from top academic publishers. DRM-free eBooks provide unlimited access to users without Digital Rights Management restrictions on printing, downloading, copying, or saving.
Faculty Select includes:
OER: Textbook links from multiple OER repositories including Milne Open Textbooks, BC Open Textbooks, OAPEN Library, Open Textbook Library, OpenStax, Pressbooks Directory, and LibreTexts. This content may be freely repurposed and edited to fit your course.
Open Access eBooks: Free eBooks that may be adopted for your course in their original form.
eBooks available for purchase from the following collections: Cambridge University Press, EBSCO, Taylor & Francis, Wiley
Any identified titles of interest can be adopted for a course. For OER and Open Access materials, you are provided a link to include in your course. For licensed eBooks not yet owned by the University Libraries, a purchase request will be submitted. That request is routed to a library staff member who can review and complete the order and notify you when the book is ready to be included in your course.
A link to the Faculty Select portal is also available in Canvas. To access the link this way, navigate to your Canvas homepage, then find the Help tab (the question mark symbol on the bottom of the left side navigation bar). Once you select Help, you will find a link to Faculty Select and a number of other useful resources listed under Other Resources.

If you cannot find an appropriate OER or Open Access textbook using Faculty Select, try the Open repositories below.
While eBooks, journal articles, and other licensed resources from the University Libraries are not Open Access or Open Education Resources, they are freely available for students and instructors to use.
