Why Articles and Suggested Databases
Articles in scholarly peer reviewed journals will give you the most current research on your topic. By currency I mean past seven years to the present. To find articles on your topic I suggest the following databases (click next tab).
Multidisciplinary database covering many subject areas. Includes scholarly journals, trade publications, magazines, books, newspapers, reports & videos.
Full text database of periodical articles & other publications focusing on the impact of gender across a broad spectrum of subject areas.
Index & abstracts of scholarly research in philosophy published in books and journals since 1940. Some full text.
Full text database of 160+ electronic journals in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
Collection of multidisciplinary academic journals, books and primary sources. Recent issues not always available. Full text.
Scholarly results from Google, including citation counts and journal metrics. Link is proxy-enabled to allow access to articles in the library collection from off campus.
