Resources for MEGA research questions

MEGA (Male Enrollment and Graduation Alliance)

The Male Enrollment and Graduation Alliance (MEGA) at Montclair State University was charged to examine and develop a plan of action to improve (cis/identified) male student outcomes from prospects to active alumni status with a focus on Hispanic/Latino and Black males.

Their website shares more details about their three focus areas of Data Collection & Analysis, External/Internal Partnerships, and Engagement/Awareness Activities:

MEGA Resources

This section of the guide shares resources related to answering MEGA's research questions (see below).  Resources were identified through searching the different indexes/databases available at Montclair State University, as well as Google Scholar.  The types of resources in the bibliographies include articles, theses/dissertations, conference proceedings, and more.

Please note that we are continuing to add to the bibliographies and are interested in your input.  If you notice that we are missing an important study related to any of the above research questions, please email Bonnie Fong (fongb@montclair.edu) about adding it to our list. Thank you.

Male Enrollment & Graduation Alliance (MEGA) Symposium

The Male Enrollment & Graduation Alliance (MEGA) Symposium was held on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Montclair State University. The symposium engaged educators/administrators nationwide to share best practices, develop enrollment partnerships/pipelines and sustainable networks for future Black/Hispanic male success.

Select materials from the symposium will be made available at a later date on the Montclair State University Digital Commons (institutional repository):
